Famzzi parent notes from the trail

After trying the Lake Hills ranger walk with a 9-year-old and a 4-year-old, our take is simple: this is a wonderful educational outing, but the one-mile walk is easier for kids around 5 and up. For younger children, bring a small snack, water, and something to keep them motivated near the halfway point.

Why these programs matter

City-run nature programs are exactly the kind of trusted local activity Famzzi wants more families to discover: affordable, educational, outdoors, and rooted in the community. We will keep adding Bellevue Parks programs as new dates are announced.
